Choosing a form of cover

There are an unlimited number of shapes and forms, covers may assume. The choice of cover often forms is determined by:

1. the ground and the landscape that exists within the property lines

2. proximity of neighbors

3. point of view dramatic are available

4. proposed uses that will cover

Forms of cover can be divided into several simple categories:

1. Ground Level Decks – These structures are usually associated with houses on one level and relatively flat patios. They have designed a much smaller number and construction challenges of high or multilevel decks. Ground level decks can act as convenient entrances, corners nice breakfast and mudrooms outdoors. Construction is not complicated. Since these covers are so low that they do not necessarily require a guardrail system. It's a good idea, though to see local building codes to verify this. An interesting design technique is the construction of several ground level terraces together to create a cascading down a slope. Altered patterns terraces on the roof next to spaces can improve the appearance of this election. Ground level decks can be supported by post and pier foundations, slabs concrete footings or continuous. Cantilever beam and girder members beyond the posts and feet can create the illusion that the roof is floating.

2. Raised Covers – These outdoor structures access to top-level rooms also can become solutions to the problems of landscape terrain. Slopes sharply falling out of a building covered house presnt special design challenges. The simplest solution is to build a single level deck with the house and supported by pillars and posts. Covered with high security concerns are an important consideration. The height of the rails and the space between balusters are great importance in these structures top cover.

3. Covers several levels – These cover designs are wonderful for avoiding problems caused by undulating and terraced landscapes. Sections of these types of covers can be of different shapes and sizes that are connected by stairs and corridors. Covered Muiltilevel are ideal to provide different views of the surrounding different view points. These covers are complex and require precise planning and careful construction. Stairs, handrails and structural components must work together properly. Multi-level decks can also be used to create easy and smooth transition from floor to the top level of a house with garden. Instead of a long ladder of a series of platforms could be built to lead to higher elevation.

4. Covers enclosures – These are built over more than one side of a house and can provide access to multiple areas of the house. Enclosures are covered perfect solution for properties that are subject to different amounts of intense sunlight during different times of the day. These unique outdoor spaces also offer simple solutions for families needing private areas for meetings, parties and other functions in the same structure.

5. Independent Roofing – These designs outdoor deck are ideal to serve as a peaceful retreat and can be built on level ground or an incline. That are easily integrated into a garden area or a garden or a group of trees. Decks can be built independently or project by a little over the pool deck, next to a water source or sit under an arbor or pergola. Potted plants, shrubs and colorful flowers can be used to dramatically improve the impact they make on any outdoor landscape.

The creative design process marks on cover is very interesting, but difficult, where individual homeowners seek to create spaces last outdoor life that best suits the needs and tastes of their families.
